Community Outreach Services for Families in Need

Hollins Family Supervised Visits is here to empower and encourage families to hold on to the strength within. We specialize in keeping the link between families together because our community outreach programs are set up for the safety of the children and their parents. Our services consist of supervising visits between the child and parent, and we are committed to being an integral partner in the reunification process of the families. We will achieve our goals by providing a positive, safe, and neutral environment for supervised visitations. Additionally, we will observe visits, and write documenting reports for the courts.

Our Goals
Our current goal is to expand with Transitional Housing Placement, which will provide services to probation and youth in foster care. In addition to providing them with a sense of community and belonging, we strive to make housing and support available so that they may maintain self-sufficiency. Services and activities of Independent Living are designed with the intent to providing services to current and former probation and youth in foster care, from the ages of 15 to 17.

We also plan to expand with the Economic Development in assisting the community by making employment available and housing for low-income families through programs such as supervised visits, independent living, and low-income housing. Call us today for more information.

Our Mission
To successfully reach out to children and families who need our support and services in a safe, clean, and professional environment and to provide transportation for children to visit with their families.  Call today to make a donation.

 What Is Supervised Visitation?

Supervised visitation is when an entire visit between a child and noncustodial relative is supervised by a third party. This also includes monitoring the custody transfers.

 Purpose of Supervised Visitation

Supervised visits help maintain relationships within the birth family, while empowering birth parents, helping family members face realty, and allowing birth family members to learn and practice new skills and behaviors. Visits matter because they help children express their feelings and relate better to foster parents, which may calm some of children's separation fears. It also gives children and foster parents the chance to see the parents.
